f.  Policy 1.6 Reimbursement of Expenses

Requests for reimbursements must be submitted within 15 days per Policy. First discuss needs with the cognizant Flag Officer and Office to ensure policies and procedures are followed. Best practice is to advise the office of what is needed once the expenditure is approved by the cognizant Flag Officer - the office will make the purchase so that no reimbursement is required. This especially applies to expenditures of assessed funds, which must be authorized by the Board PRIOR to purchases, not after.
